Welcome to DPS Electronic City.

  • Q1. What are the school timings?

    Ans: KG-8:30 a.m-12:00 noon. Class I onwards-8:30 a.m.-2:50 p.m.

  • Q2.Which classes are functioning in the school?

    Ans:Nursery to grade XII

  • Q3. What is the curriculum followed in school?

    Ans: KG - A customised curriculum with theme-based learning and hands-on activities. Grades I to XII - CBSE curriculum is followed.

  • Q4. What is Assessment system of the school?

    Ans: KG classes- Evaluation is based on observation only.
    1- Classes I & 2 – Assessment is done through periodic tests.
    2- Class III onwards- Evaluation procedures as specified by the CBSE.

  • Q5. What are the co-curricular activities conducted?

    Ans: Besides academics, equal importance is given to physical, cultural and literary activities. Dance, Music and yoga are part of curriculum. Many opportunities are provided to hone other skills. A balanced curriculum is adopted to develop a well-rounded personality.

  • Q6. Do students take part in external examinations?

    Ans: Yes, the school organises national and international examinations/competitions like the Olympiads, Spellbee, Cambridge assessments, NSTSE etc.from reputed institutions for the benefit of the students.

  • Q7. How do we get in touch with teachers/school?

    Ans: Through the school Almanac on a daily basis, with prior appointment on other days or on PTM days .

  • Q8. What is the student/teacher ratio in classes?

    Ans: KG-Upto 40 students: 2 teachers and 2 helpers Class I onwards: Upto 40 students: One class teacher and different subject teachers.

  • Q9. Do you have a medical facility in school?

    Ans: Yes, we have a well equipped infirmary managed by trained medical personnel for medical emergencies & first-aid. There is an ambulance also on the campus for extended assistance.

  • Q10. Can we avail school transport facility?

    Ans: Yes, you could if the routes decided by the school are convenient and seats are available.

  • Q11.Does the construction activities hinder the functioning of the school??

    Ans: No, every care is taken to keep the school and construction activities away from each other.

  • Q12. Is internal transfer possible within DPS in Bangalore / other states?

    Ans: Yes, we do have internal transfer policy within our branches in Bangalore and Mysore subject to the following: Only after the child has studied in the parent school for two years and if there are openings available in the other school. Transfer to any DPS in other cities/states will be considered as fresh admission.

  • Q13. Do you have qualified teachers?

    Ans: Yes, we do have qualified and trained teachers at all levels.
