Now-a-days, children are facing many problems like adults. They deal with many distractions, temptations and peer pressure. So, simple breathing techniques will be helpful to overcome these conditions.

  1. Blowing Balloon:
  • Sit in a comfortable crossed-leg position.
  • Cover your mouth with your hand.
  • Take a deep breath through your nose and start blowing out slowly through your mouth, growing your hands outward with your exhale.
  • Once it grows big, with normal breathing, sway gently from side to side.
  • Let the children imagine that they have balloon in their hand, now ask them to release it to the sky.
  1. Dragon Fire Breathing:
  • Cross your fingers and place them under your chin.
  • Inhale while lifting your elbows up.
  • Exhale while lifting your head up and making a whispered sound “Hah”, like a dragon.
  • This technique builds strength and heat.
  1. Tumble Dryer:
  • Sit in crossed-leg position.
  • Point your fingers towards each other.
  • Overlap them and keep them in front of your mouth.
  • Blow with force as you spin your fingers round.
  • Make a swishy sound.
  1. Tongue Tube:
  • Make your tongue into a tube or a straw.
  • Inhale and suck the air in.
  • Exhale slowly through your nose.
  • This has a cooling effect and refreshes the throat.
