SPARDHA 2024 (Grades I&II)
A celebratory showcase of athleticism and team Spirit at Delhi Public School, Electronic City. On October 27th 2024, DPS E-City proudly hosted SPARDHA 2024, its Annual Sports Day for Grades I and II an occasion marked by lively competition, school pride and the joy of athletic achievement. Students, teachers and parents gathered enthusiastically to support the young athletes creating an atmosphere of vibrant energy and anticipation.
The audience was treated to a vibrant walkathon that showcased the students’ discipline and unity filling the air with enthusiasm. This was followed by a lively aerobics drill display where the students, clad in bright outfits demonstrated impressive synchronization and teamwork.
The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Ms. Arpitha Mary, a passionate sportsperson who not only flagged off the proceedings but also shared encouraging words inspiring the students to give their best and embrace the spirit of sportsmanship. Our respected principal Mrs. Anupama Ramachandra gave an uplifting speech to the young athletes.
The day was packed with a dynamic lineup of track and field events including the 50m, 100m, and 200m races, as well as thrilling challenges like hurdles race, the sack race, the ice-cream race and the team relay race. These events provided a platform for students to display their agility, skill, and competitive spirit while also highlighting their commitment to teamwork and resilience.
In addition to the athletic events, a dazzling finale dance rounded out the day’s celebrations drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience and further elevating the joyful atmosphere.
The day concluded with a warm vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the chief guest, school management, principal, teachers, parents and above all the students whose enthusiasm made the event a memorable success.
