On 28th October 2024, Delhi Public School, Electronic City, buzzed with excitement as the students of Grades V and VI gathered for Spardha 2024, the Annual Sports Day. The day was a thrilling showcase of energy and teamwork, with students pouring their hearts into each event, making it a memorable celebration of sports and school spirit.
The day’s vibrant proceedings opened with a coordinated walkathon and a spellbinding drill demonstration. As the sprints commenced, the energy in the air intensified, enchanting the audience and elevating everyone’s spirits.
We were honoured to welcome Mr. Sharanendra K Y, renowned for his achievements at Karnataka State Overall Championship in 2021 and 2022 and his distinction as Best Coach, recognised for nurturing numerous national-level athletes. With his guidance, Indian Team Trial shooters and international athletes have achieved an impressive tally of 18 National medals. Addressing the gathering, he spoke passionately about the values of dedication and resilience in sports, encouraging young athletes to embrace challenges and strive for excellence.
Our beloved Principal Mrs. Anupama Ramachandra extended a warm welcome and shared highlights from the school’s journey in her annual report. Distinguished guests from our sister institutions joined the event, enhancing the occasion with their valued presence.
Parents contributed to the lively atmosphere by participating enthusiastically in various games crafted for them. The day concluded with a thrilling grand finale, marking the end of a memorable event dedicated to sportsmanship, joy, and inspiration.
